Aramark UK are currently recruiting for a Head Chef to join our team in Aberdeen, AB10 7GJ . This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced culinary professional to lead a kitchen team, deliver exceptional food experiences, and play a key role in the success of a busy catering operation.

As Head Chef, you will be responsible for the overall management of the kitchen, ensuring the delivery of high-quality food while maintaining excellent standards of food safety, hygiene, and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities include:

Leading and motivating the kitchen team to deliver exceptional food and service

Planning, preparing, and overseeing the delivery of high-quality meals

Managing kitchen operations to ensure efficient and effective service

Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness

Managing stock control, ordering, and stock rotation

Supporting budget management and minimising waste

Ensuring compliance with all company policies and health and safety procedures

Training, coaching, and developing team members

Building positive relationships with customers and stakeholders

Driving continuous improvement and maintaining high operational standards

Monday to Friday working pattern

Working hours of 7:00am - 3:30pm

What We're Looking For

Previous experience in a Head Chef or senior chef position

Strong leadership and people management skills

Passion for producing high-quality food

Excellent organisational and time management abilities

Good knowledge of food safety and health and safety legislation

Ability to manage a busy kitchen operation

Strong communication and customer service skills

A positive, proactive, and flexible approach to work
