What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help websites remember your preferences and improve your experience.
How we use cookies
We use the following types of cookies:
Essential cookies
Required for the website to function properly. These include authentication tokens and session management. You cannot opt out of these cookies.
Analytics (cookieless)
We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. It is privacy-friendly and cookieless — it sets no cookies and does not identify you — so it runs without requiring consent.
Marketing cookies
Used to measure and improve our advertising — including the Meta (Facebook) Pixel and signup-source attribution. These are only set if you accept.
Cookies we set
- tarve_consent (essential) — records your cookie choice. Up to 180 days.
- tarve_ft (marketing) — remembers which source/campaign first brought you to the site, so a signup can be attributed correctly. Up to 90 days. Set only after you accept.
- _fbp, _fbc (marketing) — set by the Meta Pixel to measure ad performance. Up to 90 days. Set only after you accept.
Managing cookies
When you first visit, a banner lets you Accept all or Reject all optional cookies — nothing optional is set until you choose. You can change your choice at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the footer. You can also control cookies through your browser settings; most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies.
