As a Chef Supervisor, you will work alongside a team of chefs and kitchen
assistants, supporting the delivery of approximately 1,000 meals, three times a day.
You will help supervise the kitchen operation, ensuring high standards of food
quality, food safety, and customer service are maintained at all times.
Key responsibilities include:
• Supervising daily kitchen operations and supporting the wider catering team
• Working with chefs and kitchen assistants to deliver approximately 1,000
meals, three times per day
• Preparing quality food within a set pre-ordered menu
• Ensuring the kitchen remains clean, safe, and compliant with all food safety
regulations
• Carrying out stock checks and ensuring stock is managed correctly
• Completing all relevant paperwork, records, and due diligence documentation
• Handling customer complaints professionally and effectively
• Supporting training and development within the team
• Undertaking relevant training as required
• Ensuring company policies and procedures are followed at all times
What We're Looking For
• Previous supervisory experience within a catering or hospitality environment
• Applicants must hold one of the following qualifications (or equivalent):
o BSc (Catering)
o MHCIM
o HND
o City & Guilds 706/1 and 706/2
o NVQ Level 2 and Level 3
• Knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practices
• CIEH Level 2 qualification (or equivalent)
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Ability to lead by example and motivate a team
• A proactive and flexible approach to work
