About the Role

FULL UK DRIVING LICENCE AND ACCESS TO A VEHICLE.

We are seeking a compassionate and customer-focused Retirement Living Assistant to provide temporary support to our clients. Working as part of a dedicated team, you will help deliver a high-quality housing management service to older residents, ensuring they feel safe, supported and able to live independently within their community.

This role would suit someone with excellent communication skills, experience working with older or vulnerable people and a proactive approach to customer service.

Main duties of the job

Key Responsibilities

Act as the first point of contact for residents, visitors and contractors, both in person and over the telephone.

Support the delivery of housing management services, including tenancy-related administration.

Maintain accurate, confidential and up-to-date records and files.

Report repairs and maintenance issues on behalf of residents and follow agreed procedures.

Assist in monitoring service contracts including lifts, heating systems, fire safety equipment and grounds maintenance.

Carry out regular scheme inspections to monitor standards of cleanliness, maintenance and health and safety.

Promote resident engagement, consultation and involvement activities.

Ensure safeguarding concerns are identified and reported in line with policy and procedure.

Monitor reactive repairs and follow up to ensure work is completed to a high standard.

Work collaboratively with colleagues to support key performance targets, including void management and rent collection.

Provide cover at other local schemes when required.

Ensure compliance with Equality, Diversity, Health & Safety and safeguarding policies at all times.

Undertake training and professional development as required.
