Youll support the recruitment process, communicate with candidates, manage applications and compliance documents, and help ensure everything runs smoothly from application to placement.

Main duties of the job

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the client onboarding process, from initial account set-up through to the client going live.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, managing expectations and ensuring a high standard of service.
  • Manage the end-to-end candidate recruitment process, including candidate attraction, registration, screening, onboarding, placement and ongoing compliance.
  • Maintain frequent communication with clients and candidates, providing timely progress updates and responding to queries.
  • Complete and monitor external pre-employment and compliance checks, including:
    • DBS Checks
    • DBS Update Service Checks
    • Home Office Employer Checking Service (ECS) checks
    • Right to Work checks
    • Overseas Police Checks
    • DVLA checks
    • HMRC checks
    • Previous employer and employment reference checks
  • Monitor candidate documentation and ensure employee compliance remains current throughout their placement.
  • Monitor advertising responses and ensure candidates receive appropriate and timely communication.
  • Support candidate attraction initiatives across appropriate recruitment channels.
  • Maintain accurate candidate, client and compliance information on internal recruitment and CRM systems.
  • Identify outstanding actions and follow up with candidates, clients and third parties to ensure recruitment and onboarding processes progress efficiently.

Role Overview

We are looking for an organised, proactive and customer-focused Healthcare Recruitment Administration Assistant to support the delivery of recruitment, onboarding and compliance services to our clients and candidates.

The successful candidate will play a key role in managing the recruitment journey from initial candidate attraction through to onboarding, placement and ongoing compliance. You will also support the onboarding of new clients, maintain strong working relationships and ensure that clients and candidates receive regular, professional communication throughout the process.

This is a varied role requiring excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced recruitment environment.

  • Produce regular management reports and recruitment/compliance updates.
  • Identify outstanding actions and follow up with candidates, clients and third parties to ensure recruitment and onboarding processes progress efficiently.
  • Support the wider recruitment team with administrative and operational duties as required.

Salary, Working Hours and On-Call Requirements

The salary for this position is £26,500 per annum, depending on experience.

The role is 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

After completing the first one month of employment, the postholder will be required to participate in the companys on-call rota approximately once every three weeks.
