Job summary
The Housekeeping Assistant will play an important role within Jewish Cares Catering & Hospitality team at Otto Schiff on the Maurice and Vivienne Wohl Campus in Golders Green, helping to maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for residents, visitors and colleagues. Working 37.5 hours per week, five days out of seven from Sunday to Thursday, you will work flexibly across shifts of either 7.30am4pm or 8am4.30pm. The role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the home, including residents rooms, communal areas and staff facilities, while following infection control, health and safety and cleaning procedures. Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience is essential, along with experience using floor and carpet cleaning machines
Main duties of the job
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and detail-focused Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at Otto Schiff in Golders Green. You will play an important part in creating a clean, comfortable and welcoming environment for residents living with dementia, visitors and colleagues. Working as part of our Hospitality team, you will clean residents rooms, communal areas and staff facilities, while maintaining high standards of hygiene, infection control and safety. You will need previous cleaning or housekeeping experience and be confident using floor and carpet cleaning machines.
