Job summary
The Care Assistant will play a vital role within the Nursing team at Stella & Harry Freedman House, part of the Betty and Asher Loftus Centre in Friern Barnet. Working an average of 38.5 hours per week on a two-week rolling rota, with 12-hour day shifts from 8am8pm and some weekends, the postholder will provide person-centred support to residents with a range of care needs. The role includes assisting with personal care and daily routines, providing companionship and emotional support, supporting meals and activities, and promoting independence, choice and dignity. You will build positive relationships with residents, families and colleagues and contribute to a supportive team environment where residents feel safe, respected and valued. Previous care experience is not required, with full training and ongoing support provided.
