Role description

Job summary

To provide full clerical support to various key functions within the hospital setting and/or clinical team. Assist in the continuity of service by working from reception on a rotational basis. Be the first point of contact for all patients, visitors and members of the public attending the hospital / clinic and ensure they are fully assisted as required. To provide administrative functions within a hospital or clinical team setting, supporting a range of services which could include: Minor Injuries Unit, Out-patient, and In-patient areas.

Main duties of the job

  • Duties will include working in various departments including the main reception, working in minor injury unit, out-patient and inpatient areas, working with out-patient and MIU staff and also working within the ward, where you will provide support to the inpatient team working with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals.
