Aramark UK are currently recruiting for a General Service Assistant to join our team at RAF Woodvale, Formby, L37 7AD . This is a fantastic opportunity for a hardworking and reliable individual looking for flexible work within a busy and rewarding environment.

The Role

As a General Service Assistant, you will support the day-to-day operation of catering and facilities services, helping to deliver excellent customer service while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety and presentation. This is a varied role where you will work across multiple areas to ensure a smooth and efficient service.

Key Responsibilities

Serving food and beverages in a friendly and professional manner

Assisting with basic food preparation and kitchen duties

Operating tills and handling customer transactions accurately

Replenishing stock, counters and service areas

Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the workplace

Assisting with washing up and general housekeeping duties

Following food safety, hygiene and health & safety procedures at all times

Working as part of a team to deliver an excellent customer experience

Supporting the wider operation as required

What We're Looking For

Previous experience in catering, hospitality, retail or customer service is desirable but not essential

A positive attitude and willingness to learn

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Reliable and flexible approach to work

Good attention to detail and organisational skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Understanding of food hygiene and health & safety practices is advantageous

Additional Requirements

Employment is subject to satisfactory right to work checks.

Due to the sector requirements for this role, successful applicants must:

Have the legal right to work in the UK

Have been a UK resident for the past 3 years

Be able to successfully obtain and maintain the required security clearance

Successfully complete a DBS check

Employment will be conditional upon the successful completion of all required pre-employment, DBS and security vetting checks.
