challenge and opportunity to discover something new about yourself.

Join us at the newly developed Catterick Integrated Care Centre and become part of the

team helping to keep this busy healthcare environment safe, welcoming and running

smoothly.

As a Facilities Services Operative, you'll provide practical day-to-day support across the

site. From welcoming visitors and assisting contractors to carrying out routine building

checks, supporting deliveries and helping maintain facilities, you'll enjoy plenty of variety in

your working day.

You'll be joining a friendly and professional team supporting both military and civilian

healthcare services, with full site-specific training provided to help you succeed in the role.

What you'll do

• Welcome visitors, contractors and site users and provide friendly, professional

assistance.

• Provide access and assistance to contractors visiting the site.

• Support routine opening and closing procedures as part of the team rota.

• Carry out routine site checks and report any hazards, faults or maintenance

requirements.

• Assist with deliveries and the safe movement of supplies around the site.

• Check stocks of site consumables and report when replenishment is required.

• Carry out routine building and safety checks in line with site procedures and training.

• Keep simple and accurate records using site systems.

• Support the wider facilities team with general duties to help keep the site safe, clean

and well maintained.

You don't need to be a facilities expert to join us. We're looking for someone who is reliable,

approachable and enjoys providing great service.

You'll ideally have:

• Experience in facilities, reception, customer service, hospitality or another service-

focused environment.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

• A friendly and helpful approach.

• Good organisation and attention to detail.

• Basic confidence using Microsoft Office and digital systems.

• The ability to follow procedures and complete routine tasks accurately.

• A proactive attitude and willingness to support colleagues across the site.

• The confidence to work independently when required.

Experience within healthcare, public sector, Defence or facilities management would be

helpful but isn't essential as full site-specific training will be provided.

Why join us?

• £12.71 per hour.

• Permanent contract of 60 hours per fortnight.

• A set two-week shift pattern, including one full weekend off every two weeks.

supermarket shop and weekend treats.

• Life assurance, pension contributions and generous holiday entitlement, with the

option to buy more.

• Great training and development opportunities.

• Apprenticeship opportunities to help you continue your learning journey.

• Genuine opportunities to develop your career. We love to promote from within.

You'll be set up for success if you:

• Have resided in the UK for the past three years and have the legal right to work in the
