Main duties of the job
We are seeking a compassionate, enthusiastic, and motivated Children's Emotional Health and Wellbeing Coach to join our team. The role is part of the Wiltshire Children and Young Peoples Emotional Wellbeing Service, which utilizes the Thrive Framework. This service aims to provide timely and flexible support focused on the holistic needs of children, young people, and their families, rather than a diagnosis. We strive to build resilience in children, their families, and professional carers, providing them with knowledge of the available support and empowering them to handle future mental health needs. Working within a multidisciplinary team, the Wellbeing Coach will employ solution-focused methods and decider skills to offer a personalized coaching program. This role emphasizes the '5 Ways to Wellbeing', which includes connecting with others, being physically active, learning new skills, giving to others, and mindfulness.

The ideal candidate will have -
Essential:
Level 3 Certificate in Work with Parents/Level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young Peoples Workforce / Advanced diploma in counselling / Foundation degree/HND in family support work or equivalent experience
Skills required to communicate with parents / carers and external agencies and to provide pastoral support and advice to children and young people
Empathy and sensitivity are required
Trained in Solution Focused Therapy or equivalent therapies or willing to complete
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes
Trained and experienced in delivering at least one evidence-based manualised, therapeutic intervention- e.g:
Level 3 Certificate in Work with Parents
Level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young Peoples Workforce / Advanced diploma in counselling / Foundation degree/HND in family support work
