Role description
Job summary
The Level 2 Business Administration Apprentice will provide administrative support to the Widening Participation and Volunteering (WPV) Team while completing the Level 2 Business Administration Apprenticeship. The role offers an opportunity to develop practical administration skills, including communication, customer service, record keeping, data management and meeting coordination, while supporting the delivery of apprenticeship, volunteering and work experience programmes. The post holder will gain valuable workplace experience, participate in training and off-the-job learning, and work towards achieving the knowledge, skills and behaviours required for a successful career in business administration.
Main duties of the job
Provide administrative support to the WPV team.
Communicate with internal and external customers.
Use IT systems and Microsoft Office applications.
Maintain records and databases.
Process correspondence, emails and telephone enquiries.
Organise meetings and appointments.
Produce documents and reports.
Handle information confidentially.
Work collaboratively across teams.
Support service improvement activities.
Develop organisation and time-management skills
Commitment to completing the apprenticeship.
Attendance at training sessions.
Completion of portfolio work and assessments.
Participation in off-the-job learning.
