We are currently recruiting for a motivated and customer-focused Wait Staff Lead to join our team at Royal Military Academy Sandhurst . This is an exciting opportunity for a hospitality professional who enjoys leading by example, delivering exceptional customer service, and supporting the smooth running of a prestigious dining operation.

What you'll be doing

Leading and supporting the front of house team during service

Delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for all customers

Supervising daily hospitality and dining room operations

Assisting with the organisation and coordination of service to ensure efficiency and consistency

Training, coaching, and supporting team members

Monitoring cleanliness, presentation, and service standards across all front of house areas

Supporting hospitality events and special functions when required

Ensuring food safety, allergen, and health and safety procedures are followed at all times

Assisting with stock control, ordering, and inventory management where required

Building strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a hospitality, catering, restaurant, or customer service environment

Experience supervising or leading a team is desirable

Strong customer service and communication skills

Ability to motivate and support colleagues to deliver excellent service

Good organisational and time management skills

Professional and positive approach to work

Ability to remain calm and effective during busy service periods

Flexible approach to working variable shifts

Commitment to maintaining high service standards

Additional Requirements

Successful candidates will be required to obtain and maintain a DBS check

Successful candidates will be required to obtain and maintain Security Vetting
