Trust Specialist Registrar in Stroke - Un-banded
1 X 1 Year FTC (Mat Cover)
We are looking to recruit a full-time doctor to join the Stroke Unit on a 1 year fixed term contract.

Main duties of the job
Candidates must hold MBBS or equivalent and be expected to have completed foundation 1 year training, and ideally have experience at F2, CT1/2 or ST1/2/3 level.The successful applicant will be expected to have full registration with the General Medical Council with a licence to practise.
- To provide in-patient and out-patient care for patients referred with suspected stroke or TIA, stroke mimics and medical outliers on the Stroke Unit.
- To participate in clinical and other service activities with the object of ensuring a high standard of patient care
- To contribute to the development of clinical quality and effectiveness in other clinical areas where these overlap with developments in stroke.
- To take part in the Unit's research programme.
