We are looking to recruit a Temporary Staffing Co-ordinator where you'll play a vital role in helping our services deliver outstanding patient care. In this fast-paced and rewarding role, you'll coordinate temporary staffing requests, match workers to shifts, build positive relationships with staff and managers, and ensure staffing needs are met efficiently across the Trust 7 days a week, 365 days of the year.

This is a permanent contract of 21.5 hours per week based at Ludlow Community Hospital, Gravel Hill, Ludlow SY8 1QX. This will include working weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis.
Main duties of the job
To lead the Temporary Staffing team with the objective of providing a comprehensive highquality temporary staffing and advisory service to all users of Temporary Staffing service.
To fill all shifts with temporary workers, in accordance with the requirements of the request,sourcing cover using the Temporary Worker register.
To process bookings, receive by email, telephone or entered on the Roster system in anaccurate and timely manner in relation to the nature of the request.
To liaise with managers, wards, teams and departments to identify cover required and to keepthem informed of the progress made.
To proactively identify solutions and suggest alternatives to managers when temporary cover isnot available for the shift requested.Regularly engage with temporary workers to obtain availability, develop relationships andaddress queries and to encourage greater uptake of temporary shifts by individuals.
