We are currently recruiting for a friendly and enthusiastic Steward to join our team in Emsworth . This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a hospitality environment, delivering excellent customer service, and supporting both bar and food service operations.

What you'll be doing

Serving food and beverages to customers and guests

Providing table service in a professional and friendly manner

Undertaking bar duties, including serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks

Supporting functions and events across the site

Carrying out basic cold food preparation as required

Restocking goods and ensuring service areas remain fully supplied

Operating tills and handling cash accurately

Cleaning bar areas, public areas, and back of house spaces

Reporting customer feedback, issues, hazards, or maintenance concerns to management

Following food safety, licensing, and health and safety procedures at all times

Supporting the wider team with additional duties as required

What we're looking for

Previous bar or front of house experience is desirable but not essential

Full training will be provided

Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate is desirable but not essential

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Positive, friendly, and professional attitude

Good organisational skills and attention to detail

Flexible approach to working hours, including functions and events

Ability to remain calm and professional in a busy hospitality environment

Additional Requirements

Must be over 18 years of age

Must have lived in the UK for the past 3 years

Must have the legal right to work in the UK

Must be able to successfully pass security vetting

Must be able to obtain and maintain a DBS check
