Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Band 5 Paediatric Staff Nurse within the Paediatric Accident and Emergency Department of the Acute Adult Care Division of the Trust. We have an excellent team of healthcare professionals dedicated to Emergency Care provision for the local community. We are looking for motivated nurses with paediatric nursing experience to work in our busy department, following our trust values of "Putting patients and staff at the heart of everything we do, being respected, valued and proud".
Applications from overseas Nurses - The Trust appreciates and values the contribution international nurses bring to the NHS. We also understand the support overseas nurses need to gain full registration once in the UK (via OSCE) and therefore we only recruit internationally to fill nursing vacancies when we can ensure support is in place. At this present time we aren't in a position to offer that support and therefore will not accept applications from overseas nurses who only have Part 1 NMC registration. If that position changes in future we will clearly advertise our opportunities for international nurses to join our nurse team here in Bolton. Thank you for your understanding.
Main duties of the job

As a Staff Nurse you will be expected to provide and promote the delivery of a high quality standard of patient centred care in a supported environment whilst working within nationally agreed standards for Sepsis and key performance indicators.
We have an excellent in house induction and training programme led by our practice educators. We run regular training days relevant to role and experience utilising the National curriculum and competency framework from the RCN. We also have development packages designed towards achieving clinical and leadership skills and training needs analysis geared towards development into differing career pathways within the department.
