Aramark UK are currently recruiting for a Shop Assistant to join our team at

Askham Bryan College, YO23 3FR. This is an exciting opportunity for a friendly

and enthusiastic individual to work within a busy college retail environment, providing

excellent customer service to students, staff, and visitors.

Job Description

As a Shop Assistant, you will help ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the

college shop, delivering an excellent customer experience while maintaining high

standards of presentation, cleanliness, and stock control.

Key responsibilities include:

• Serving customers in a friendly and professional manner

• Operating tills and handling cash and card transactions accurately

• Replenishing stock and maintaining attractive product displays

• Monitoring stock levels and reporting any shortages

• Assisting with deliveries and stock rotation

• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness within the shop and surrounding

areas

• Providing product information and assisting customers with queries

• Following all food safety, health and safety, and company procedures

• Supporting colleagues to ensure smooth daily operations
