Pay: £14.56 per hour

Hours: 12 hours per week

Shift pattern: Days, nights and weekends

Location: Great Baddow

Overtime: May be available but is not guaranteed

We are looking for a professional, reliable and vigilant Security Officer to join our team at a high-profile site in Great Baddow.

You will help maintain a safe and secure environment by monitoring the site, carrying out patrols, managing access and responding appropriately to incidents. You will also act as a professional first point of contact for staff, visitors and contractors.

What We Offer

12 guaranteed contracted hours per week

Potential overtime, subject to operational requirements

Support with obtaining SC Clearance, where required

Key Duties

Carry out internal and external patrols

Monitor access to the site

Respond to alarms, incidents and safety concerns

Maintain accurate security records

Assist visitors, contractors and staff professionally

Follow site security, access-control and confidentiality procedures

✅ Essential

Valid SIA Door Supervisor or Security Guard Licence

Full UK Driving Licence

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Good IT skills with the ability to complete accurate reports

A professional, customer-focused approach

Excellent attention to detail

Eligibility to obtain Security Clearance (SC)

Security Clearance Requirements

This role requires you to be eligible to obtain Security Clearance (SC).

To be eligible you must:

Have lived continuously in the UK for the last five years

Be able to provide a full five-year employment, education or activity history

Successfully complete the required vetting and background checks
