Location: Eastbury, Northwood, HA6 3HP

Hours: 40 hours per week, working 5 days over 7

Contract: Full Time

Rate of Pay: £13.45 per hour

We are currently recruiting for a friendly and customer-focused Shop Assistant to join our retail team at Eastbury, Northwood . This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced retail environment, delivering excellent customer service, and helping to create a welcoming shopping experience for every customer.

What you'll be doing

Serving customers and providing a friendly, professional service

Processing transactions and payments accurately through the till system

Keeping shelves fully stocked and ensuring displays are well presented

Receiving deliveries and managing stock levels effectively

Monitoring product availability and reporting stock shortages where necessary

Maintaining a clean, safe, and tidy retail environment

Following food hygiene, health and safety, and company procedures at all times

Supporting the opening and closing of the retail unit

Assisting with merchandising and promotional displays

Working as part of a team to ensure excellent customer satisfaction

What we're looking for

Previous retail or customer service experience is desirable but not essential

Full training will be provided

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Ability to work effectively as part of a team and occasionally on your own

Positive, enthusiastic, and reliable approach to work

Good organisational skills and attention to detail

Ability to work efficiently in a busy retail environment

Flexible approach to working hours and business needs

Commitment to maintaining high standards of service and presentation

Additional Requirements

Must have lived in the UK for the past 3 years

Must have the legal right to work in the UK

Must be able to successfully pass full security vetting

Must be able to obtain and maintain a DBS check
