Job summary
We are looking for a Registered Nurse to work with our multidisciplinary team in in Lincolnshire. You will be a key member of the team, providing holistic, person-centred end-of-life care to people in their homes. Your responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating high-quality nursing care for people living with a terminal illness and those important to them. We are looking for compassionate professionals committed to providing comprehensive support to individuals and their loved ones during the most critical times of their lives.
Main duties of the job
- Provide compassionate, person-centred care to patients and those important to them, ensuring dignity, respect, and kindness at all times.
- Deliver high-quality palliative and end-of-life care tailored to individual needs.
- Work collaboratively with health and social care professionals to support coordinated care and positive patient outcomes.
- Build effective relationships with partner organisations to enhance the experience of patients and families.
- Assess, plan, deliver, and evaluate care in partnership with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team.
- Practise in accordance with the NMC Code and relevant legal, ethical, and clinical frameworks.
- Adhere to Marie Curie policies, procedures, and standards of care.

Job responsibilities
- Contract Type: We have both permanent positions (36 hours per week) and bank opportunities available.
- Job Shifts: Between 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM, Monday to Sunday, including Bank Holidays
- Salary: Marie Curie Pay Scale Band 5, aligned with Agenda for Change, £32,073 - £39,043 per annum (for permanent positions). For Bank position, from £16.40 to £19.96 per hour, inclusive of any applicable enhancements as outlined below.
- Enhanced Pay: Up to 30% extra for weekday and Saturday shifts, and up to 60% extra for Sunday and Bank Holiday shifts
- Location: Community-based in Lincolnshire covering Boston, Grantham and Lincoln
What we are looking for:
- Registered Nurse on NMC Register with a relevant qualification and experience.
- Proven expertise and experience in palliative and end-of-life care within a community setting.
- A holistic and person-centred approach to nursing practice.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage sensitively and effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
- A genuine passion for delivering high-quality care to those at the end of life.
- Access to a personal vehicle, a valid driving license and business insurance. You must be able to travel to the Lincoln, Boston and Grantham bases as required.
