Job summary
Spire Harpenden Hospital is looking to recruit a highly motivated, experienced and patient-focused Registered Nurse to join our busy and supportive Outpatients Department on a fixed-term contract covering maternity leave.
This is a full-time position (37.5 hours per week) offering the opportunity to work within a dynamic outpatient environment, providing high-quality care to patients across a wide range of specialties.
Main duties of the job
Delivering safe, effective and evidence-based patient care.
Assessing patients' health and wellbeing across a varied and changing caseload.
Supporting consultants during outpatient clinics and minor procedures.
Maintaining high standards of clinical practice and quality care delivery.
Liaising and collaborating with departments across the hospital to ensure seamless patient care.
Promoting best practice and contributing to continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Undertaking clinical procedures including wound dressings and other nursing interventions as required.
Supporting patients and relatives with compassion, professionalism and excellent communication.

Spire Harpenden Hospital is looking to recruit a highly motivated, experienced and patient-focused Registered Nurse to join our busy and supportive Outpatients Department on a fixed-term contract covering maternity leave.
This is a full-time position (37.5 hours per week) offering the opportunity to work within a dynamic outpatient environment, providing high-quality care to patients across a wide range of specialties.
Working Hours
37.5 hours per week on a rota basis, including:
- Monday to Thursday: 7:30am - 9:00pm
- Friday: 7:30am - 6:30pm
- Saturday: 7:30am - 2:00pm
Flexibility is required to meet the needs of the department.
