Role: Relief Screening Officer

📍 Location: Slough & Hayes Area

💰 Pay: 21.09 per hour

📅 Hours: 24 hours per week - Monday - Sunday days nights and weekends

Responsibilities

We’re looking for someone who sees a different world—someone who values teamwork, shows initiative, and wants to grow. Ideally, you’ll have:

Adhere to and apply the Screening Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)

Require datacentre personnel to utilise metal detection and/or wand for secure area access

Monitor traffic flow through screening checkpoints

Follow security breach procedures by notifying supervisors or other appropriate personnel

Perform hand-held wand searches and walk-through metal detection searches

Follow safe work practices and be aware of company policies and procedures related to job safety. Notify superiors of any unsafe working conditions.

Carry out all functions, duties, or tasks in an honest, ethical, and professional manner, following applicable company policies and procedures

Seek clarification from superiors or authorised company representatives when uncertain

Demonstrate understanding and engagement with the Securitas Core Values of Integrity, Vigilance and Helpfulness, whilst showing a natural ability to recognise risk within the workplace and consider safety as a priority, complying with relevant policies, procedures and training as provided by the Company

What we’re looking for:

We’re looking for someone who sees a different world—someone who values teamwork, shows initiative, and wants to grow. Ideally, you’ll have:

A valid SIA licence

Flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends

Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle

The right to work in the UK, with a 5-year checkable history

Someone who is willing to travel and cover all of Slough and Hayes area.

Be able to work on their own occasionally for long periods of time

Strong communication skills in English—both written and spoken

Great customer service skills (white glove attitude)

Proven experience in datacentre operations or equivalent security industry experience; or equivalent experience in forces/services.
