Role description

Job summary

The post holder will be responsible for providing clinic administration and reception support for the Wigan Community Mental Health Services within Claire House. This will include receiving and greeting service users and their carers into clinic areas whilst recording the service users' attendance and clinical outcome on the electronic patient record system (EPR), along with other administrative duties commensurate to the grade.

The reception service opening hours are at present, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday.

Please note - This role is not eligible for sponsorship unless you meet criteria by temporary exemption from current changes to immigration rules put in force on 22/07/2025. Separate provisions are applied to workers who have been sponsored and held continuously Skilled Worker visa since prior to 04/04/2024.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be interactive with the general public, nursing, medical staff, professionals and other Trust administrative and clerical staff and will ensure all reception processes are carried out in a timely and accurate manner to ensure an efficient reception and quality service to all users.
