Role description

Project Manager

As Project Manager, you will lead the successful delivery of technology projects for our customers, ensuring work is planned, governed and delivered to agreed scope, time, budget and quality standards.

You will coordinate internal teams, customers and third-party suppliers across the project lifecycle, from initiation and discovery through to implementation, service acceptance and operational handover. You will provide clear communication, maintain effective governance and proactively manage risks, issues, dependencies and change.

The budgeted salary for this role is between £60,000 and £70,000 a year , depending on experience.

Responsibilities

Manage technology projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring delivery against agreed scope, timescales, budget and quality standards.

Work with customers and stakeholders to define project objectives, requirements, deliverables, success criteria and acceptance processes.

Develop and maintain project plans, delivery schedules, resource plans, budgets, RAID logs and governance documentation.

Coordinate project teams across technical, commercial, operational and customer-facing workstreams.

Facilitate project meetings, workshops, progress reviews and steering groups, ensuring actions and decisions are recorded and followed through.

Provide clear and timely project reporting, including progress, milestones, financial performance, risks, issues, dependencies and decisions.

Identify, assess and manage project risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies, escalating appropriately where required.

Manage project change control, ensuring that impacts on scope, cost, time, quality and resources are understood and agreed.

Qualifications & Experience

Demonstrable experience delivering technology projects in a client / supplier environment.

Experience managing multiple concurrent projects of varying budget and complexity.

Comfortable operating in fast-paced technical consultancy or managed services environments.

Strong commercial awareness with the ability to manage project profitability, change control, risks and contractual commitments.

Proven ability to work confidently with technical consultants, senior client stakeholders and executive sponsors.

Able to challenge constructively, drive decisions and hold stakeholders accountable when required.

Experience of Microsoft Modern Workplace, Cloud or Digital Workplace projects is highly desirable.

Professional project management qualifications are beneficial, but are not essential.

Please note, we may require you to obtain security clearance (SC) in the future, so for that reason you will need to be a British passport holder with 5 years residency in the UK to be considered for this role.
