Join our friendly and forward-thinking Procurement & Distribution team and play a key role in ensuring patients receive the right medicines, at the right time, every time.
This is a structured progression post from Band 4 to Band 5, with a clear development plan, mentorship, you'll manage medicine ordering, liaise with suppliers, maintain stock availability, and help deliver cost-effective, safe, and efficient pharmacy services.

Main duties of the job
To supervise the Pharmacy Procurement and Distribution department, supporting the efficient and effective procurement and distribution of medicines.
Ensure that all legal and departmental practices including Standing Operating Procedures (SOPs), MHRA Rules and Guidance for Pharmaceutical Distributors, COSHH, Lifting and Handling Regulations and all Trust Policies and Procedures are followed.
To supervise and oversee the training of all operational staff within the procurement and distribution department.
