Role description

Who are we?

Influencer is a global creator marketing agency on a mission to shape the future of marketing by humanizing brands. By placing creators at the center, the agency delivers creator-first solutions across creative, media, and commerce that connect brands with audiences through insight-driven creator campaigns built to stop the scroll and drive measurable impact.

Founded in 2015 by YouTuber-turned-entrepreneur Caspar Lee and entrepreneur Ben Jeffries, Influencer is the world’s largest independent creator marketing agency - powered by a unique ecosystem of proprietary technology, platform partnerships, and longstanding talent relationships.

As an Official Global Marketing Partner of TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Snap, Meta, and Twitch, Influencer delivers bespoke, enterprise-level solutions powered by Waves, its AI-driven operating system. From concept to conversion, the agency blends human instinct with platform intelligence to drive measurable outcomes across the full funnel - from brand perception to performance and sales.

With 200+ team members speaking 30 languages across North America, Europe, and the Middle East, Influencer has delivered 6,000+ campaigns for leading brands including Spotify, SharkNinja, Google, Nike, Disney, and Coca-Cola.

Job title: People Coordinator

Location: Hybrid

Reporting into: People Operations Director

Overview of the job

As People Coordinator, you'll be the operational engine behind Influencer's employee experience, owning the processes that make every stage of the employee lifecycle accurate, timely, and seamless, from someone's first day to their last. You'll bring a genuine curiosity for AI and automation, always looking for smarter ways to run people processes, and you'll pair that with real creative flair: designing the decks, guides, and materials that bring our culture and L&D initiatives to life. You're a confident, clear communicator who can take direction, ask the right questions, and land the right solution, not just the first one.

3 best things about the job

Global Exposure: work across multiple markets and entities, gaining hands-on experience of global payroll, contractor management, and EOR structures

Full Ownership: take end-to-end responsibility for onboarding, offboarding, and people data, with genuine autonomy to improve how these processes run

Broader People Exposure: while People Operations is your core focus, you'll have visibility across the wider People function, including talent, culture, and engagement initiatives

Key Responsibilities

1. Employee Lifecycle & Operations

Partner with the People Operations Director to design and continuously improve the employee lifecycle processes, supporting the development of the frameworks and documentation the wider People team uses to deliver a smooth experience for every employee.

Act as primary administrator for our HRIS and our wider people tech stack, maintaining clean, accurate, audit-ready employee records

Coordinate and initiate monthly payroll inputs across multiple markets, liaising with Finance and local payroll providers/EORs

Manage the cross-market HR data workflow for monthly payroll, partnering with Finance on review and approval, and coordinating with the Global People Directors, local providers and EORs for final delivery.

Own the administration of our global contractor population, from engagement through to offboarding

Support hiring logistics, job postings, interview scheduling, candidate coordination, offer letters

Be a trusted first point of contact for employee queries

2. Learning & Development, Design & Communications

Design engaging decks, training materials, and visual resources that support L&D initiatives, culture moments, and company-wide announcements

Build clear, well-structured documentation, process guides, and handbooks that drive real engagement and adoption

Write internal communications that keep teams informed, aligned, and genuinely engaged

3. AI, Automation & Problem-Solving

Bring genuine enthusiasm for AI and automation, with practical ideas for applying it to people workflows

Go beyond report-pulling: build dashboards and present people data in ways that surface clear, actionable insight for the wider business

Tackle operational bottlenecks with curiosity, digging into the root cause and rolling out practical fixes independently

Measures of Success — In Your First Few Months, You'll Have:

Built a strong working relationship with the People Operations Director and wider People team, understanding how the function operates today

Developed a thorough understanding of onboarding, offboarding, payroll, and contractor management processes, and identified quick wins to improve accuracy and efficiency

Taken full ownership of onboarding and offboarding administration, ensuring a smooth, consistent experience for every joiner and leaver

Become the go-to person for people data accuracy in HiBob, with clean records across all markets and started surfacing insights, back to the team

Established a reliable rhythm for global payroll initiation, working closely with Finance and EOR partners where relevant

Started building visibility and rapport across the wider People function, beyond your core remit

What you'll bring:

Experience: 1-2 years in People Operations, HR Administration, or a People Coordinator role, ideally within a fast-paced, global business

AI & Automation Enthusiasm: Real curiosity about emerging AI tools, with concrete ideas for applying automation to HR workflows

Design & Material Creation: Confident with tools like Canva or Google Slides, able to turn dense information into engaging, well-designed materials

Problem-Solving Drive: A self-starter who digs into complex situations, asks sharp questions, and follows through to resolution

Experience with Employer of Record (EOR) providers is a strong advantage
