Job summary
University of Suffolk Dental CIC is seeking a Non-Executive Board Director to help shape the future of dental care, education and community impact in Suffolk.
We are particularly interested in individuals with experience in one or more of the following areas: clinical or dental regulation, workforce and people practice, NHS commissioning, finance, legal and contractual matters, social enterprise, commercial leadership, or community and voluntary sector partnership working. We are actively seeking someone with current GDC registration to support our existing Board composition.
The role is unremunerated, with an indicative commitment of around eight days per year. Meetings will take place virtually and in person in Ipswich.

Main duties of the job

Working as part of a unitary Board, you will provide independent oversight, constructive challenge and strategic insight across governance, assurance, risk, culture and stakeholder engagement. You will bring sound judgement, integrity and the confidence to contribute effectively to complex senior-level discussions.
