Aramark UK are currently recruiting for a Mobile Cook to join our team in Nantwich,
CW5 7DY. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and flexible catering
professional to support school catering operations across Cheshire and Shrewsbury,
helping to ensure the delivery of high-quality meals and excellent service.
Job Description
As a Mobile Cook, you will provide vital support across multiple school sites,
stepping in where required to help maintain smooth kitchen operations and high
standards of food provision.
Key responsibilities include:
• Supporting catering operations across schools throughout Cheshire and
Shrewsbury
• Preparing, cooking, and serving nutritious meals for pupils
• Assisting with menu delivery and food preparation
• Ensuring high standards of food quality, presentation, hygiene, and safety
• Supporting kitchen teams during periods of absence or increased demand
• Maintaining accurate records and completing required food safety
documentation
• Assisting with stock control, stock rotation, and food ordering
• Ensuring kitchens remain clean, safe, and compliant with company
procedures
• Building positive relationships with school staff, pupils, and catering
colleagues

• NVQ Level 2 in Professional Cookery is preferred
• Previous experience working within a catering or kitchen environment
• Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to different sites
• Strong organisation and time management skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Passion for producing high-quality food
• Reliable and flexible approach to work
• Full UK driving licence required
• Own vehicle required
• Enhanced DBS check required
• Employment is subject to satisfactory right to work checks.
