United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust (ULHT) are seeking a highly motivated Estates Craftsperson (Mechanical/ Plumbing Bias) who will be based at Pilgrim Hospital. The post holder is required to play a proactive part within the Estates team to meet Trust objectives in a safe, cost effective, efficient manner in compliance with legislation and good practice.

Main duties of the job

  • Ensure that maintenance activities are effectively recorded, signed and dated appropriately and evidence based.
  • Support and encourage multi-disciplinary working.

Qualifications (Academic, Professional & Vocational)

Essential

  • oAppropriate City and Guilds Qualification, NVQ3 or equivalent in an Engineering/ Plumbing related discipline
  • oServed an apprenticeship or other recognised training.

Desirable

  • oFocused training such as Anglian Water Approved Plumber, Air Conditioning or chilled water systems training and experience.
  • oAdditional Hospital Engineering related certified training

Previous Experience (Nature & Level)

Essential

  • oExperience in the maintenance of mechanical and electrical plant and services and fault finding within a similar organisation or similar size and complexity organisation.
