We now seek a Maintenance Operative who is passionate about, and thrives on, making a real and positive difference to the lives of older people. As part of our home team, you will play a vital role in engaging with, supporting, and improving the quality of lives for our residents. You will carry out your tasks in a way that also promotes an approachable and respectful relationship with our residents to enable them to live a fulfilled and comfortable life with a sense of security, dignity, and self-respect. Collaborating with the home Manager and maintenance team, you'll maintain high standards, including interior decoration, grounds maintenance and safety, building repairs, supplies, and utilities. Each day presents challenges that require respect and support for varied resident and colleague needs. Your role involves assessing areas in the home and providing needed attention, ensuring the home remains well-maintained, while sharing your expertise with colleagues to maintain high standards.
