This service is supported by the haematology apheresis team, with further expansion planned through the opening of a new dedicated apheresis unit at the City Hospital site in July 2026.

Queen's Medical Centre is home to the Nottingham Comprehensive Care Centre for Haemophilia, which provides a specialist service for adults and children with bleeding disorders.
