What you will be doing As a qualified RMN/RNLD you will provide a high profile, visible clinical leadership to the hospital wide nursing team. You will promote and safeguard the well-being and interests of all service users, employees and visitors. You will ensure that standards of patient care are maintained at all times within the parameters of operational policies and governing legislation.
Main duties of the job
As a Lead Nurse at Elysium Healthcare, you will be a senior member of the nursing team with responsibilities of providing visible clinical leadership across the hospital. Your role will include promoting and safeguarding the well-being of service users, employees, and visitors while ensuring patient care standards are maintained. This position requires extensive experience in similar settings within the NHS or Private Care and includes participation in senior nursing call arrangements. You'll support the Director of Nurses with relevant information, lead nursing services maintaining professional standards, manage resources, supervise senior nurses, and coordinate pre-admission assessments. You will also directly engage in customer and contract liaison, deputize for the Unit Manager, and comply with relevant legislation responsibilities.
