Aramark UK are currently recruiting for a Laundry Assistant to join our team at Woodsmith Mine, Whitby.

This role is essential in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation, supporting the daily requirements of a busy site operation.

What you'll be doing

You will be cleaning boot rooms, washrooms, canteen, and welfare areas on-site, ensuring all standards are maintained throughout, and all cleaning tasks are completed in a timely manner.

Reporting hazards and checking over equipment to ensure they are in good condition, reporting any issues to management.

You will be working alone on occasion and as part of a team, working together to ensure all daily tasks have been covered.

Duties will include sweeping, mopping, hoovering, rubbish disposal, and other general duties attached to the role.

Must have a legal right to work in the UK.

Previous laundry, housekeeping, cleaning, or facilities experience is desirable but not essential

This site has a zero tolerance to alcohol and drugs, testing daily
