Join our snack-loving team

We’re looking for a Hygiene Facilities Operative to join us at KP Snacks. If you’re ready to bring your ideas to the table, grow your skills and be part of a team that values what makes you, you – this could be your next big move.

Who are we?

We’re KP Snacks, part of the Intersnack family. Across more than 30 countries, over 15,000 of us work together to make the snacks people love – from Hula Hoops to McCoy’s. In the UK, we’re a team of around 2,400 colleagues, based across seven sites and our Slough HQ. We’re proud of our close-knit culture, where we speak up, celebrate differences and push boundaries together.

About the role

We're looking for a Hygiene Facilities Operative to help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment at our Hellaby site. This role plays an important part in supporting our colleagues by ensuring staff facilities, office areas and washrooms are maintained to the highest standards.

Working as part of the Hygiene team, you'll complete a range of cleaning and hygiene tasks, accurately maintain records and help ensure site procedures are followed at all times. You'll use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely, dispose of waste and recycling correctly, and help keep hygiene storage areas organised and compliant.

This is a hands-on role that would suit someone who takes pride in their work, has a strong eye for detail and enjoys making a visible difference every day. You'll need to be proactive, reliable and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.

At KP Snacks, we know that great workplaces are built by great people. If you're looking for an opportunity to join a supportive team where your contribution is valued and your development is encouraged, we'd love to hear from you.

What’s in it for you?

We believe in rewarding our colleagues and helping them thrive. Here’s a flavour of what we offer:

Competitive annual salary

KP Pension Plan with up to 7% matched contributions

25 days holiday, with the option to buy up to five additional days for more flexibility

Comprehensive healthcare support including Health Cash Plan, Digital GP and Employee Assistance Programme

KP4ME benefits platform with discounts, cashback, wellbeing tools and everyday savings

Enhanced family-friendly policies to support colleagues at every stage of life

What will you be doing?

Maintaining high hygiene standards

Clean staff facilities, office spaces and washroom areas to agreed standards, helping create a clean, safe and pleasant environment across the site

Supporting hygiene compliance

Complete hygiene documentation and records accurately and on time, ensuring all information is recorded in line with site requirements

Identifying and reporting issues

Report any damage, maintenance concerns or misuse of facilities to the Hygiene Team Captain and escalate issues where appropriate

Working safely and responsibly

Follow site procedures, safe systems of work and hygiene standards while using cleaning equipment and chemicals correctly

Managing materials and waste effectively

Dispose of waste and recycling in line with site procedures and maintain clean, organised hygiene storage areas
