Role description

HR & Recruitment Coordinator

Location: Beautmont Leys, Leicester

Salary: £28,000–£32,000 (DOE)

We're looking for a proactive and organised HR & Recruitment Coordinator to support our People Partner in delivering a professional, people-focused HR service across Max Energy.

This is a varied role covering the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to HR administration, payroll coordination and learning & development. It's an excellent opportunity for someone with HR administration experience who is looking to develop their career within a growing business.

What you'll do

Coordinate HR administration across the employee lifecycle.

Prepare contracts, offer letters and employment documentation.

Maintain accurate HR and payroll records.

Coordinate monthly payroll inputs.

Manage recruitment campaigns, candidate communications and interview scheduling.

Coordinate onboarding, pre-employment checks and inductions.

Support training administration and maintain training records.

Act as the first point of contact for routine HR and recruitment queries.

Support employee engagement activities and HR projects.

About you

You'll have previous experience in an HR Administrator, HR Assistant or similar role and be confident managing multiple priorities while maintaining excellent attention to detail.

You'll also have:

Experience supporting recruitment and payroll administration.

Strong organisational and administrative skills.

Excellent communication skills.

Good Microsoft Office knowledge.

The ability to handle confidential information professionally.

Desirable:

CIPD Level 3 qualified, studying towards it, or willing to undertake the qualification.
