ABOUT THE ROLE As a Head of Maintenance at a Barchester care home, you'll make sure we have a clean and well-maintained environment so that residents feel at home and staff can do their jobs well. You'll turn your hand to all sorts of tasks within the care home building as well as in the gardens and grounds. That could mean fixing a leaky tap one minute and planting some new bulbs the next. You should be comfortable working alone, leading a team and supporting the General Manager with annual budget planning.
