Job summary

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a GP Assistant to join our team at Chelmer Medical Partnership for 36 hours per week.

The work pattern for this fast paced role is

Monday 8.00am - 5.30pm with a 30-minute unpaid break

Tuesday 8.00am - 5.30pm with a 30-minute unpaid break

Thursday 8.00am - 5.30pm with a 30-minute unpaid break

Friday 8.00am - 5.30pm with a 30-minute unpaid break

Main duties of the job

The role will include:

- Triaging and booking appointments as appropriate as part of the Duty Hub team, using the AccuRx triage system

-Sending referrals to Pharmacy First and MECs

- Supporting patient experience by reiterating information from the GP

- Assisting with practice tasks

- Supporting the wider practice team where required
