We are currently recruiting for a friendly and enthusiastic General Service Assistant to join our team at RAF Boulmer . This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working within a busy kitchen and food service environment , supporting the culinary team and helping to deliver a high-quality dining experience.

What you'll be doing

Assisting the kitchen team with food preparation and service

Serving food and beverages to customers in a friendly and professional manner

Supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of a busy kitchen environment

Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout kitchen, dining, and food service areas

Washing pots, pans, crockery, cutlery, and kitchen equipment

Assisting with stock replenishment, deliveries, and storage of goods

Supporting food production and preparation as directed by the chefs

Following food safety, allergen, and health & safety procedures at all times

Ensuring work areas are clean, organised, and ready for service

Working as part of a team to provide excellent customer service and food provision

What we're looking for

A positive and customer-focused attitude

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Reliable and flexible approach to work

Good organisational skills and attention to detail

Previous catering, hospitality, kitchen, or customer service experience is desirable but not essential

Willingness to learn new skills and undertake training

Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and customer service

Additional information

Been resident in the UK for the past 3 years and have legal right to work

The ability to pass full security vetting and DBS checks
