We are currently recruiting for a reliable and proactive General Assistant / Store Person to join our team at Heathrow . This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands-on role, takes pride in maintaining accurate stock control, and enjoys supporting a busy catering operation behind the scenes.

The opportunity to be part of a busy and dynamic operation
What you'll be doing
Receiving deliveries and checking orders against delivery notes
Storing stock correctly and ensuring stock rotation procedures are followed
Delivering stock and supplies to the appropriate areas across the site
Assisting chefs with basic food preparation duties as required
Counting and controlling stock, investigating discrepancies and reporting shortages
Checking invoices and noting any shortages, damages, or issues with deliveries
Moving cages, boxes, and stock safely around the operation
Maintaining clean, safe, and organised storage areas
Complying with Aramark policies and procedures at all times
Following health and safety and food hygiene regulations
Adhering to site security procedures and stock control processes
Supporting the wider catering team with day-to-day operational requirements
Previous experience in a stores, warehouse, catering, logistics, or stock control role is desirable but not essential
Ability to lift and carry boxes containing dry and frozen goods safely
Comfortable moving cages and stock throughout the centre
Good numerical skills with the ability to accurately count stock and identify discrepancies
Experience checking invoices and recording shortages would be advantageous
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
A reliable, proactive, and flexible approach to work
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication skills
Additional Requirements
Successful candidates will be required to obtain and maintain Enhanced DBS clearance .
Successful candidates will also be required to obtain and maintain Counter Terrorist Check (CTC) clearance .
