Job summary
Lancashire Teaching Hospitals Charity including Baby Beat currently has an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Fundraising and Administration Assistant, based at Royal Preston Hospital. This is a full-time role that combines office-based work with time spent in the community, attending fundraising events and supporting our valued donors and volunteers. Main duties of the job
Support the Lancashire Teaching Hospital Charity team including Baby Beat to implement multi-year strategies to increase income andsupport for them across all areas of fundraising, ensuring donors and supporters receive appropriate stewardship, as well as providing retail administrative, charity administrative and finance support.
You will often be the first point of contact with donors, customers, volunteers, supporters, Trust staff and suppliers.
This post is predominately office-based working with the need to work in the community at fundraising events along with supporting and stewarding the charity's supporters and donors.
You'll need to be flexible, enthusiastic, and confident when working with the public, as you'll sometimes represent the charity at community events.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience in a supportive and fast-paced charity environment, where your contribution will truly make a difference.
A car and driving license are essential for this post as the post holder will be required to drop of fundraising resources, meet with donors and fundraisers, support fundraising events and attend third party fundraising activities and functions across Lancashire.
