The Evening Events Host plays a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences across Warwick Caste's diverse programme of events. From banquets and weddings to themed dinners, conferences, corporate events, and live music concerts, this role supports the successful operation of a wide range of entertainment and hospitality experiences.
Working as part of a dynamic events team, the Evening Events Host will provide outstanding customer service, support food and beverage operations, and help create memorable experiences for guests.
Customer Service
Deliver exceptional guest service in line with company and venue standards
Provide a warm and professional welcome to all guests attending events
Respond positively and professionally to guest requests and enquiries
Actively engage with guests to enhance their overall event experience
Support the smooth running of events while maintaining a positive and enthusiastic attitude
Food & Beverage Service
Serve Food and Beverages to guests efficiently and professionally
Support table service operations, including clearing and resetting tables between courses
Prepare and replenish food and beverage service areas as required
Operate bar facilities in accordance with company procedures and licensing requirements
Maintain cleanliness and presentation standards throughout service periods
Event Operations
Support the setup and breakdown of event spaces and equipment
Assist with guest seating and event marshalling activities
Ensure event areas are fully prepared before guests arrive
Provide operational support throughout events to ensure they run smoothly and efficiently
Work collaboratively with colleagues and event organisers to deliver successful events
Adapt to different event formats and operational requirements as needed
Health & Safety
Follow all Health & Safety, Food Safety, and company procedures
Maintain a safe environment for guests, colleagues, and contractors
Report any hazards, incidents, or concerns promptly
Always adhere to responsible alcohol service standards
Support the venue’s commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation
Excellent customer service skills and a genuine passion for hospitality
Ability to work efficiently and remain calm under pressure
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Positive, enthusiastic, and team-focused attitude
Willingness to work evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and seasonal event schedules
Ability to work shifts of varying lengths, including late-night finishes
Reliable and punctual with a flexible approach to work
Must be aged 18 or over due to the nature of the role
