You will play a key role in establishing and developing this new service, ensuring high-quality care delivery while maintaining full compliance with regulatory and legislative requirements.
Main duties of the job
The role of Dual Registered Manager Children's Homes at Agincare Childrens' Services in Redcar and Cleveland presents an open opportunity for an exceptional leader to spearhead the launch of two new children's residential homes. This permanent position offers a salary of up to £65,000 per annum, dependent on skills and experience. The appointed manager will ensure the effective day-to-day running of the homes, promoting a safe and nurturing environment for both children and staff. The role demands an experienced individual with at least three years in a leadership capacity within childrens residential care, alongside a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare. The successful candidate will guarantee compliance with Ofsted regulations and safeguarding standards while developing a positive team culture. Experience leading Ofsted inspections is essential. - Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England) (or equivalent).
- Minimum of 3 years experience in childrens residential care, including at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
- In-depth knowledge of safeguarding,Ofstedregulations, and relevant legislation in childrens services.
- Experience in planning and implementing care plans and maintaining documentation to a high standard in line withChildrens Homes (England) Regulations 2015and Quality Standards.
- Experience supporting children and young people with learning disabilities who may display complex behaviours.
- Experience leading Ofsted home inspections.
- Experience opening or developing new services is advantageous.
