Role Overview
The Director - Real Estate Finance, is responsible for structuring debt and equity on commercial, development, and residential investment transactions. This role involves servicing clients’ real estate financing needs, managing brokers and senior brokers, and supporting the growth and strategy of FRP Real Estate Advisory. The Director reports to the Partner - Real Estate Finance.
Key Responsibilities
Structure debt and equity for commercial, development, and residential investment transactions
Support key partners and introducers by servicing their clients’ financing needs
Build and maintain key partner and introducer relationships
Maintain deep knowledge of markets, competitors, and the wider financial industry
Ensure compliance with FCA standards for CPD and market standards
Meet targets and create new business opportunities
Report to the Partner, Real Estate Finance, in a timely manner on all relevant matters
Prepare for weekly team meetings and monthly reviews
Mentor and manage brokers and senior brokers within the team
Enhance market knowledge to progress within the corporate structure
Uphold and promote FRP Advisory Group core values
Qualifications
Minimum 7 years’ experience in real estate
Educated to degree standard or equivalent professional qualifications
Understanding of the Real Estate Finance Market
Proficient in financial modelling in Excel
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work under pressure and to timelines
Experience building trust and implementing structure within teams
