This vacancy is open to employees of Isle of Wight NHS Trust and Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust only.
NHS Band 4 Salary: £28,392 to £31,157 pro rata per annum (actual salary £18,928 - £20,771 per annum)
Hour Per Week: part time, 25 hours

Main duties of the job
Key Responsibilities
- Create a positive learning environment to promote staff skills development.
- Engage in one-to-one discussions with end users where necessary, to assess needs, capability, and achievement.
- Convey complex and technical matters clearly and simply to end users.
- Actively contribute to the production of lesson plans, schemes of work, assessments, and end user guides. All course materials should comply with internal quality, working towards NHSD Training & Education standards, with Training documentation reviewed on an annual basis to ensure compliancy.
- Set up applications for training to reflect real life examples, e.g. dummy patient episodes and/or patient context scenarios for use in facilitated learning sessions.
- Self-motivated and capable of demonstrating initiative to solve problems and make decisions
- Logical and efficient, with good attention to detail
- Makes effective use of learning opportunities within and outside the workplace
