Job summary
Location: Community Clinics (Health Harmonie Locations)Reports to: Clinical Lead Dermatologist
To provide high-quality dermatology care within community outpatient clinics, managing a range of skin conditions through assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. The post holder will work collaboratively with consultant dermatologists and multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, effective, and patient-centred care.
Main duties of the job
- Conduct independent dermatology outpatient clinics.
- Diagnose and manage a wide range of dermatological conditions.
- Perform dermatology procedures within competence, including biopsies, cryotherapy, and minor skin surgery.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and treatment plans.
- Participate in clinical governance, audit, and quality improvement activities.
- Work closely with consultants, GPs, and healthcare professionals to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
- GMC registration with a licence to practise.
- Significant experience in Dermatology, including independent outpatient clinic work.
- Excellent clinical, communication, and organisational skills.
- Commitment to patient-centred care and clinical governance.
