Role description

Job summary

This role is based at the Leeds General Infirmary. To undertake a range of clerical and administrative duties which will include receiving and checking documentation, reports and patient information, processing appropriately within departmental guidelines, entering information onto the appropriate IT system and retrieving information as and when required.

Main duties of the job

This is a friendly and diverse team who work exceptionally hard to maintain the standards of the NHS . We embrace new ideas and encourage development. We are currently involved in some development projects which we hope will improve the service we provide for patients and are looking for an enthusiastic hard working individual to support the Service in achieving this .

  • The jobholder must take responsibility in agreement with his/her line manager for his/her own personal development by ensuring that Continuous Professional Development remains a priority
  • To deal with telephone and in-person queries from patients and relatives
