We are currently recruiting for a reliable and motivated Cleaner to join our team at Queen Elizabeth Barracks, Strensall. What you'll be doing
Carrying out daily cleaning duties across designated areas
Cleaning offices, communal areas, washrooms, corridors, and welfare facilities
Vacuuming, mopping, dusting, polishing, and sanitising surfaces
Emptying waste bins and ensuring correct disposal of waste
Replenishing cleaning supplies and consumables as required
Reporting maintenance issues, hazards, or defects to the relevant manager
Following cleaning schedules and completing relevant documentation
Ensuring all work is completed in line with health and safety procedures
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the site
What we're looking for
A positive and proactive attitude
Good attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication skills
Reliable and punctual approach to work
Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential
Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
Willingness to undertake training where required
