We are currently recruiting for a Chef Supervisor to join our team in Bicester, OX25 1PZ . This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced catering professional to take on a supervisory role within a large-scale kitchen operation, helping to deliver high-quality meals while supporting the development and supervision of enhanced inmates in a secure environment.

What you'll be doing

Collaborating with a team of chefs and enhanced inmates to deliver meals three times per day

Supervising and assisting enhanced inmates within the kitchen operation

Preparing quality food items in line with set menus and production requirements

Supporting the delivery of a safe, efficient, and professional catering service

Ensuring the kitchen remains clean, organised, and compliant with food safety standards

Conducting stock checks and ensuring stock is managed effectively

Completing all relevant paperwork, records, and due diligence documentation accurately

Managing challenging situations professionally and dealing with conflict where necessary

Supporting food safety, health & safety, and operational compliance procedures

Undertaking training and development activities as required

About you

Previous supervisory experience within a catering or hospitality environment

Relevant culinary qualification

Experience working in a large-scale kitchen

Strong communication and leadership skills

Ability to motivate and support others while maintaining professional boundaries

Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

A positive, proactive, and team-focused approach

Ability to work effectively in a secure environment and follow strict procedures

You must have lived in the UK continuously for the past 5 years and have the legal right to work in the UK

The successful candidate will be required to pass full security vetting and DBS checks
