Lead Our Kitchen Team as Chef Manager

Are you a passionate and experienced Chef looking for your next leadership opportunity? We are seeking an enthusiastic Chef Manager to oversee the day-to-day operation of a busy catering service in Woodstock. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented culinary professional who enjoys delivering exceptional food while leading and developing a high-performing team.

The Role

As Chef Manager, you will take full responsibility for the kitchen operation, ensuring the delivery of high-quality food and excellent customer service. You will manage all aspects of food production, team leadership, food safety, stock control, and financial performance.

Key responsibilities include:

Managing and motivating the kitchen team to deliver outstanding food and service

Planning and preparing fresh, nutritious, and appealing menus

Ensuring compliance with food hygiene, health & safety, and company standards

Managing stock levels, ordering, and supplier relationships

Monitoring food costs and managing budgets effectively

Delivering excellent customer satisfaction through quality and innovation

Training, coaching, and developing team members

Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised kitchen environment

We're looking for someone who:

Has previous experience in a Chef Manager, Head Chef, or similar leadership role

Possesses strong culinary skills and a passion for fresh food

Demonstrates excellent leadership and communication abilities

Has a good understanding of food safety and health & safety legislation

Can manage budgets, stock, and food costs effectively

Thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering high standards

Holds a Food Hygiene qualification (preferred)
